Meet the Team

Eric Chez

I’m proud to serve as Principal for careLOFT with over 15 years of experience in the DDD (Division of Developmental Disabilities) community. My journey began in 2010 while attending Arizona State University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Communication. Throughout college, I worked in group homes and day programs, laying the foundation for a career dedicated to serving individuals with developmental disabilities.

As both a direct care provider and in managerial roles, I’ve had the opportunity to grow alongside the community I serve. My passion lies in making a meaningful impact in people’s lives, and I’m always looking for innovative ways to better support and uplift those around me.

Originally from Nevada, I’ve called Arizona home since 2010. I’m a proud husband and father to two wonderful daughters. Outside of work, I stay active through hiking, working out, and enjoying all kinds of sports.

My professional philosophy is rooted in community, compassion, and continuous improvement. Every day, I’m motivated by the opportunity to make a difference and to contribute positively to the lives of others.

Jennifer Hernandez

I’m proud to serve careLOFT as a Supervisor with over 12 years of experience in the Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) community. My journey began in 2013 as a caregiver at a DTA in Avondale, and through hard work and dedication, I progressed from Direct Care Worker to Team Lead, and eventually Supervisor.

For the past 8 years, I’ve overseen day-to-day operations at a day program, where I specialize in creating personalized learning strategies and fostering a supportive, engaging environment. My passion for this work is deeply rooted—not only professionally, but personally—as a proud mother to a special needs child.

Born and raised in Arizona, I’m also a devoted wife and mother to two wonderful children: a 22-year-old daughter and a 9-year-old son. I bring both my life experience and professional knowledge to every aspect of my role, and I am committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals and families we serve.

Our Mission

Careloft’s DTA program is committed to fostering independence, enhancing life skills, and creating joyful, meaningful experiences. We strive to build a nurturing community where every individual feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
